GovScape is more than a re-boot of the successful Gov20 Radio. It is an open, collaborative initiative to build on the international network of supporters and contributors in ways that will encourage more localised content contribution while broadening participation across borders. In continuing our ramp-up towards a leadership circle as well as a network of local supporting contributors, this capacity includes: Coordinating an international cross-jurisdiction multi-culture advisory network Eliciting high level thought leadership and experience Mapping the public sphere landscape Taking ‘social snapshots’ to identify needs and priorities Convening online comment and exchange Mobilising participation Enabling local meet-ups Amplifying ground-level experience Providing feedback loops Developing social reporting skills and networks Drawing together a resource base to support areas of need and inequity Contributing to major multilateral programs (such as the OGP, WSIS and MDGs) by providing aggregated thinking, access to diverse local networks and social communication logistics. Supporting networked open initiatives that cultivate open government, public purpose co-innovation and public sector transformation.
